Program note:
Our streets and sidewalks are no longer ours. Once a place of community and recreation, now they are often hostile territories not meant for people but for something else.
How are the ongoing development trends affecting your quality of life? What would it look like to reclaim our streets? and how could we do it ourselves?
We invite you to map your experiences in the urban realm that captures everyday narratives and visualize them through images.
Send us an image of a city street or sidewalk (snapshots of experiences) and 150 words write-up exploring solution/possibilities of the space to improve your city experience.
Remember the solution has to be light, cheap, and quick. This is tactical urbanism.

Selected submissions were invited to join a workshop to exchange and develop ideas on the mentioned solutions on paper. Participants had  an opportunity to interact with others with similar suggestions.

Through an engaging and tactile process our participants mapped street challenges and manifested their tactical solutions on paper and we are excited to share them with you.
